Osmosis System
This Reverse Osmosis System uses the same technology as our NASA
astronauts and the US Navy.
Our system is different than the others because we incorporate a
substance called KDF Media. This patented material is used in
the post-carbon filter to eliminate bacterial growth. This
ensures that your purified water remains safe and it lengthens the
life of the filters, saving you money. |
Our membrane is also different than what you will see in the
average RO system. We use a TFC (Thin Film Composite)
membrane, which delivers consistently lower TDS (Total Dissolved
Solids) than the common, cheaper, CTA membrane used by most of our
competitors.
How it Works...
The pores in our RO membrane are approximately 0.0005 microns in saize, compared to bacteria which are 0.2 to 1.0 microns,
and viruses which are 0.02 to .4 microns.
