Ultraviolet
Sterilization System
What does ultraviolet do?
Ultraviolet is used in hospitals to fight off airborne disease.
Some dentists use it to purify their tools. It has even been
used in air conditioning systems to eradicate mold and mildew.
What it does for your water...
Ultraviolet kills anything that has nucleic acids, including
pathogens that cause staph and strep infections, salmonella,
hepatitis, and the potentially deadly strain 0157:H7 E. Coli.
This type of UV has proven to be equally effective against protozoan
organisms such as giardia and cryptosporidium.
How does it work?
The water comes out of your water softener and into a UV
chamber. Once inside the system, UV light from the bulb passes
through a quartz sleeve and destroys living organisms almost
instantly. The sanitized water then travels into your home,
organism free. |
